When allowing us to do your work, you are agreeing to this disclaimer.
Condition of parts can be deceiving before we begin work. The true appearance is not visible until stripping and sandblasting is completed. If there is a concern we will inform you immediately to discuss further options.
Once an order is complete, payment is due before pickup. The owner then has 30 days to pick up these parts. After 30 days a 10% storage fee will be added, until the parts are paid for. We are not responsible for what happens to parts after 90 days. We will not dispose of the parts if an agreement has been made for us to store the parts. A warning letter will be sent to inform all customers of their possible loss of parts, if we do not hear from them after the first thirty days. This letter would offer one last chance to communicate with us to examine the options available.
If for some rare and unforeseen chance that a part gets damaged, destroyed, and/or lost then Proctor's Metal Finishing is only required to pay the charges cost for the part. A maximum of 50% more could be added to our overall cost to pay for our mistake to replace the part. If for some reason this happens then feel free to talk to us. Our desire is to solve the problem correctly and fairly as best as we can and as soon as we can. Although, this is rare be prepared in case the problem does arise.

These are classic and antique parts so we do not know what problems may arise so there may be delays.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Shipping and Handling is at customer's expense. We do not inflate shipping costs.
CHROME QUALITIES
Here at Proctor's Metal Finishing we offer these Quality Grades for custom chrome plating. With these choices you can pick the one that best fits your application.
Please read and understand the following Quality Grades.
1) Factory Quality
10 Foot Appearance:
This quality offered is to make your chrome appear to be as close to factory appearance as possible. Factory Quality in the past still had polish lines and pitting; therefore, we will leave some in to leave it with an original and historical feel.
2) High Quality
5 Foot Appearance:
Surfaces are made smoother and with less pitting than Factory Quality. There will be no polishing lines. We will try to fill as much pitting as possible.
3) Show Quality:
Per customer satisfaction by the hour.
Customers that are not charged show quality prices should not expect show quality.
PROPER CHROME CARE
To take care of chrome properly, Use chrome wax regularly. Chrome wax will protect it and keep it shiny. The chrome polish we sell here at our shop is streak clean. This wax builds an invisible gloss layer of protection over all surfaces, whether it is the chrome, paint, stainless steel, or aluminum. You may purchase this wax from us at $20.00 a bottle. This wax is what we suggest using for the best care and use of your chrome.
TURN-AROUND TIME
Our shop time depends upon several factors:

Order Condition
Season when order is started.
Plan ahead.
You should not wait until the last minute to get parts re-chromed. Rushing an order may drop the quality we can offer. You must be prepared for any unexpected time delays. We strive to uphold our motto: "We endeavor to do quality work for a fair price." If we are rushed then our quality may not be as good. Please plan ahead .Turnaround times are estimates only.
If you request us to rush your order we have a $100.00 fee or 10% of entire order, whichever price is greater. This rush means the upcoming Monday will put your order at the top of the list of all customers to be started that week. We do not rush through the work, but we do speed up the start time. Customers must be aware that delays may occur even on rush orders.
WARRANTY / REINSTALLATION
We have a one year warranty on all chrome plated parts. Warranty covers peeling, chrome discoloration, and bubbling. Almost all problems with chrome plated parts begin with the screw and bolt, holes. To prevent damages use washers under screws and bolts and never over tighten. Our warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation.
PAYMENT
Because of the costs of labor and materials we have to request a 50% deposit on any orders over $500. The deposit will be requested once the work is begun. We accept Visa, Master Card, Money Order, and Personal check. Checks have to clear before parts will be shipped and or picked up.
